This is for the information of all concerned that all the students have to fill up an online anti- ragging affidavit as available in UGC’s https://www.antiragging.in/ website and must have ABC ID for their registration under University of Calcutta.

All the newly admitted students of Semester I of academic year 2025-26 must be present on 04.11.2025 at 2.15 pm in library reading room for the online anti ragging affidavit form fill up and ABC ID creation. The faculty member of admission committee and student members of Anti Ragging Mentoring Cell will guide the students on this.

For online anti- ragging affidavit: The students must have their guardian’s e-mail ID, phone number and their own e-mail ID with them for form fill up.

For ABC ID: All Students must bring their aadhar card and aadhar linked mobile (or must have access to the OTP ) so that they can create their ABC ID on that day.

Note: If your aadhar number is not linked with your mobile number, contact nearest aadhar enrolment centre for aadhar and mobile linkage.

Submission of the Anti-Ragging Affidavit and creation of the ABC ID are mandatory for every student. Failure to complete these requirements will result in non-registration under the University of Calcutta.
