This is to inform all concerned that the college will observe Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August, 2025, in accordance with the UGC advisory (DO No.1-74/2016(ARC), dated 22^nd July, 2025).

To inaugurate the week-long observance, an informative video message from the Officer-in-Charge of this college addressing the issue of ragging will be shared with students and broadcast on social media platforms.

As part of the activities, a student competition titled "Selfie with an Anti-Ragging Slogan" will be held. Interested students are required to take a selfie in front of the Anti-Ragging banner displayed at the college foyer. The banner must be clearly visible in the background, and students must hold a sheet of paper displaying an originally composed anti-ragging slogan by them, while taking the photo.

Each student is allowed to submit only one selfie, which must be e-mailed to antiragging@snggdcg.ac.in or sent via WhatsApp to Dr. Atreyi Sarkar [9874897710] during the period of 12th to 18th August, 2025. The best selfie selected from the entries will be awarded and also published in the official Facebook page of the college.

Important: Entries without a clearly visible anti ragging slogan and the banner in background will be disqualified.

Students are also encouraged to participate in National Contest 2025 organised by UGC on digital poster, reel making etc., the details of which are available in www.antiragging.in
