It is hereby notified that the college is ready to consider for fees-waiving (partial) of the students of Semesters V (on individual case basis) who satisfy the following criteria: - Annual family income should not be over Rs. 1 lakh. The competent authorities to certify the family income of the student include SDO, BDO, local councilor, panchayat pradhan. Candidates have to produce recent (not more than 6 months old) income certificate from the competent authorities.
- SGPA scored in the Semester III examination should be 7.5 or above
- Class attendance during the last semester should be 75% or above
- Candidates should not be recipient of any scholarship (including Kanyashree 2, i.e., K2). They have to give undertaking in this regard
- A certificate will be sent to the student considered for fees-waiving for their guardian’s signature
- For those who got fees-waiving for their Semester III (2022), need to apply in fresh for Semester V again and also provide annual income certificate in fresh
- The applications for fees-waiver should be addressed to the Officer-in-Charge and submitted to the concerned HoDs. Applications will be accepted only when it is forwarded by concerned HoDs.
All the HoDs are requested to verify the students’ attendance and marks and forward to the following members of the Students’ Welfare and Scholarship Sub-Committee by 08.09.2023.: - Sri Anirban Sarkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology
- Dr. Upala Saha, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany
The final list of the students considered for fees-waiving will be decided by the Officer-in-Charge. |
